I keep hearing this! What's different about the bread that makes it so good do you think?

It's very fresh.

...and very soft!
I'm not sure..i'm not a baker or anything but it's just nice crusty, soft bread..yum.
Recap:
It's very fresh...very soft...and six different kinds of awesome.

And it just tastes good!
This is how most of my food reviews go. I'm not very good at deciding why I like something, I just like it.
Found this older thread and had to resurrect since we went to the EoS yesterday.
I think the bread is so good because, less than being soft, it's tender - perfect for a warm sandwich. That's why we like them so much. It also represents pretty good value - $5.99 for sandwiches, which are substantial to say the least.
DH had the Original 1762 (yes, horseradish sauce and tender roast beef - yum!) , I had the All American (yes! cranberries! YUM!!), and DD6 had a Kid's pizza sandwich, which was delish, too. And we've decided they've got some of the BEST salt and vinegar chips anywhere...not too artificially sour...they just really taste like they've been sprinkled with vinegar.
The Guiness is over in the cooler, in that alcove with the tall, large, community table. I know, because where we were sitting - it was taunting me the entire time
Sigh...I wish everyday could be an EoS day. Perhaps it would make it less special. But I would sure like to find out.
(And yes, a repeat at EoS won out over trying Pollo Campero or even my passholder discount at Puck's Express. What can I say? It's the EARL!)
Cdub - I hope you are convinced that it's worth a try!
^^^ Glad to hear you liked it so much, we it and my favorite is the All American, closely followed by the Earl's Club. We think it is the best value on Disney property.
Lizzy..was this your first time at EoS??I love the tuna melt..I think I said this before..but gah it's good.
No, we've been several times. It had just been a while because, as I've whined about before, I'm not a big fan of crowds, and it's always crowded. I'm so glad it's done well, though. I remember when it opened, we were really hoping that it would survive - and it totally has!
Hi,
EOS--yummy!
Could someone list the six different kinds of awesome?
Jim
I am looking forward to taste all of their sandwiches! LOL!
But I can't seem to be able to get past the All American, it's so good it feels like a waste to order any other!
I love Earl of Sandwich, really, I'm a big fan!
I don't think I've had a bad sandwich there. We may need to go on our next trip.
