Where is Your Dream Disney Wedding?

Disney Fairytale Weddings offer some fantastic wedding locations, but if you could get married (or renew vows) anywhere at Walt Disney World where would it be?

I have always dreamed of the beach at the Polynesian, it's just so lush and romantic there. However I think that Morocco would also be amazing... and Italy... maybe France. How on earth do Disney Brides pick?!

For us this was easy! Was there air conditioning at the venue and was it inside - I love my bridal party and ya know...want them to not die of heat prostration in a formal gown/suit in the middle of the day in June or have to worry about the weather. Plus, I've been dreaming about getting married in the Wedding Pavilion for years. We gave some thought to Isla Isola at Epcot but it just didn't quite feel like us. Also, I would have loved to have an after dark reception in the palace ruins of the Maharajah Jungle Trek or the Flame Tree BBQ pavilions at Animal Kingdom but we'll be getting married at the wrong time of year and there is no music allowed due to the animal habitats.

And we totally appreciate that! Ooo... After dark in the Jungle trek does sound pretty cool though.

If I had it all to do over again, and there were absolutely no limitations on where at WDW we could hold our ceremony or how much money I could spend, I would get married right outside of Cinderella's Castle in front of anyone who happened to wander by. Of course the actual guests would have a cordoned off area with chairs, but if a crowd gathered behind them to watch, cool! Then we'd have the reception inside the castle. (Surely the kiddies could do without lunch or dinner with the princesses for one day.) Or if a castle reception were out of the question, use one of the seasonally open restaurants with indoor seating. Then when the reception was over, everybody would get to have fun in the Magic Kingdom.

Mine would be at the Poly. It would also be very small. The reception would be at The California Grill ending just in time for Wishes viewing. This would take probably take place in January so that the heat would not be a factor.

If there were no limitations, I'd go with ceremony right out front of Cinderella's castle with reception at California Grill. And I'd be able to wear my dress in the park the WHOLE day....how fun to have pictures of you in your dress on Dumbo or Splash Mountain!

If there were no limits, I'd have to go all out crazy just because I could. Like after dark in Fort Wilderness at the abandoned water park. Or I'd have it officiated by an animatronic character, preferably one of the Presidents.

But realistically, I'd do a pre-WWII Atlantic City theme on the Boardwalk!

Haha, I haven't given that part much thought! Maybe Teddy Roosevelt. I'd have to visit the Hall of Presidents again to make a decision. Oh! Or Mark Twain and Ben Franklin. laugh
