Who Will Be Staying? Swanky Four Seasons Finally to Begin Construction

I saw this morning that the money is finally in place to begin construction on the Four Seasons at WDW. Judging from how gorgeous the Waldorf Astoria is, this will probably be one beautiful hotel. Anyone interested in ultra luxury, on property but not Disney?

Pretty much same here. Now I wouldn't mind having one of the Golden Oak homes!

I will probably give the Four Seasons a try at least once, though it will probably have to be for a very special occasion.

Nope. We prefer getting the full Disney experience at their resorts like, POR, PORFQ, CBR, BC, WL, etc. Don't think we'd get the same vibe. It's lovely but think we'll pass.....

Don't know. Being a DVC member... this doesn't affect us. BUT... I think it would be very cool to stay there. It may not be Disney... but it would have its own charm so to speak... lol

I don't know if I would stay there. I wouldn't mind trying the rooftop restaurant.

I like staying on property. With my food issues its so much easier to go with a dining plan than without. Plus I dont like driving down there.

It's actually on property - it will be in the northeast portion, and it will encompass the area where the Osprey Ridge golf course currently is. From the sounds of it, Disney kind of lured them to come and build. I wonder if that will have an impact on what perks FS guests get? Like maybe they'll get EMH and other things? It'll be interesting to see. Orlando will now have just about all the big luxury names - Waldorf, Ritz, and now the Four Seasons.

I read Conde' Nast Traveler and the Four Seasons Resorts are always in their "best of" lists. I really hope that I do get to stay here sometime, even though we're DVC. I found it interesting that there will also be Four Seasons Residential units, which means there are now two locations where you can live at WDW.

If anyone would like to send me a check I would be more than willing to check this place out and give a full report.

In all honestly probably not...we are very much "on-property" people.
