I went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter on June 15th 2010 before it was officially open, We got in with no wait and the only thing we couldn't do was forbidden journey. I Went and saw the queue on opening day (then went to universal) and Went back on the Sunday to ride forbidden journey and had to wait 3 hours to get in to the area.

I Love these even though its blurry because Its in the Three Broomsticks but there was no one else in there. I doubt i will ever be able to get another picture in WWOHP without anyone in the background.

Thanks. Opening days and after were quite ridiculous though. We were planning to go in on opening day but the queue was over 12 hours long.

I read the stories at the time. I figured I'd give it a while to die down before I gave it a whirl.

12 hours long!!!!!! Why would anyone wait that long? That would mean they could only do one ride the whole day

I wish they made everyone dress in hogwarts uniforms when they were there, though... looks strange to see people in "tourist-wear" in the middle of Hogsmeade

I do agree. But then theres not much thats worth a 12 hour wait .
I say if the queues are low its a nice area to look around. I want a wand lol.
I visited WWHP this past January. It was awesome, even though it was Florida's time for some liquid sunshine. It was torrential downpours but the great part is that the rain kept everyone away and we got to do everything we wanted. We rode Forbidden Journey (no wait time...we rode back-to-back), got into Ollivanders with a minimal wait and ate at the Three Broomsticks with no wait! It was great. Can't wait to get back and have some Butterbeer!
