Would love some tips for the parks

We just got seasonal passes..... yay So over the year Im looking forward to checking out everything I possibly can with my 5 year old. muchlove

Any tips or recommendations on things we should check out, eat, see, etc? I don'/t mean like the typical rides and stuff. But cool things we'd likely have missed had we not had the time. Thanks!

Are you into pin collecting? That can be a lot of fun that not everyone knows about.

I like the idea of pins but they sure seem kinda pricey! We spent most of the summer at Universal and I noticed my son really seems to like the penny smooshers. I was thinking about starting up a collection on those.

That's a great idea, actually! I think I posted somewhere here on those, how we use them to make nice, very inexpensive souvenirs. I would say make sure to check out Spaceship Earth and the area adjacent with all the cool games and activities. It's tempting to rush right through there, but there are some neat things to experience. Also, make sure you poke into all the corners of World Showcase, like way back into the countries. There are parts of China that I still don't think I've seen, and I only recently went into the Norwegian church for the first time. OH - and the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse and Tom Sawyer Island in MK. Make sure to explore those at least once.

Have fun and good luck!

What do you do with the pennies once you collect them? Someone posted a link somewhere on here that I found earlier that shows all the machine's location. There are a LOT!

Depends on how you want to do it. If your going to buy a lot of them, then it does add up. But the fun part is the trading, and you can buy a lot of Disney pins on eBay for roughly around 50 cents a piece. We bought 200 of them for $100 and will take them with us to trade down there. Last year we werent prepared to trade and had to spend probably 100 bucks just to be able to trade like 20-30 pins. So it just depends.

Could it get pricey... oh yeah... but if you get some junk ones on eBay... it will help out a lot.
