Your Birthday Celebration Restaurant ...

Ok folks, my plan next year is to surprise my wee princess at a signature restaurant.....This being a milestone of her young age..Hee..Hee.. wink ...Last year was our sons 17th birthday and he got a lovely surprise at YS..( See photo ) But got red faced at VN when the waiters gathered round our table and sang in Italian to him..So for my wife's big birthday, I'm hoping that the meal will be romantic as well as awesome. Which restaurant would you choose to celebrate your partners birthday..?

Celebrated this year's birthday breakfast with Cindy in her castle (CRT) and dinner with the Beast in his castle (BOG). Next year's birthday is a big one, so I'm planning on V&A, but will probably save the chef's table for a significant anniversary.

V&A if we had the funds. More realistically, if it were for me I'd book Flying Fish. If it were for DH's birthday we'd do Yachtman's.

The only time we were at WDW on one of our birthdays it was hubby's, it was arrival night, the Magical Express to Old Key West had taken FOREVER so it was quite late, and we ended up at Olivia's simply because it was there. (I never make reservations for arrival night if there's a chance we could be delayed getting there.) But it was excellent! So no complaints at all.

Next year I will actually get to plan a real surprise for hubby because his birthday will fall in the middle of the big WDWFG meet-up, while many of you will be on the big boat. Decisions, decisions...But it will have to be someplace my sister and her clan will like, since I can't not invite them. I will have to check menus.

Where we do our birthday dinner depends on the trip and what is going on during the trip. This year we will be lucky enough to spend both of our birthdays and our actual anniversary while in the World. Mrhubs' birthday is in June. We will be traveling with our kids and grandkids (all four of them ages 2, 3, 4, and 6. His birthday dinner will be at the Grand Floridian Cafe. Our September trip will include my birthday as well as our anniversary. For my birthday dinner we have reservations at the Plaza for an early dinner followed by the first MNSSHP of the season. I am pretty sure he made reservations for our anniversary the following week, but I can not remember where.

Better hurry only just over 200 to decide! We already have most of our wish list ADRs and a few back ups picked out!

I have a whole 2 nighter birthday "dream trip" planned in my head, where we would essentially spend the entire time at the Polynesian with a quick trip over to Magic Kingdom. Dinner would be at Ohana. muchlove

Since you guys love snazzy dining, I would probably do V&A. For myself, I love seafood. I'd be super happy at Cape May Cafe or I'd maybe try Fulton's Crab House. Benn would probably choose Via Napoli.

It's the whole dinner jacket thing that puts me off V & A... sad Plus i was never a fan of the late Queen Victoria, such a bossy woman..Get me this, get me that, do this, do that.. yuck

I'm just going to throw this out there - Hoop De Doo, seriously, they make SUCH a fuss of people sporting birthday badges, it would be a birthday meal to remember that's for sure!
