Your Favourite Parks In Order...

Good Morning All...Now having 5 trips under my belt, comprising of 56 days and nights inside the magic bubble..I do have my favourite parks in order..Number 1 is MK...To me it's what WDW is all about...The Main Street towards the castle, the lands, the characters around every corner.etc...Number 2 is Epcot...This is where my favourite attraction is located." Soarin.".And strolling around world showcase is like visiting eleven countries in one day...( Must get that passport if it's still available )..Number 3 is HS..It's small enough to enjoy without rushing about...And I think the live shows like Beauty, and Indy, and Lights,Motor,Action, and of course Fantasmic is fantastic..Number 4..Last but not least AK..I must admit I'am not a huge animal person, tho I do love Kilimanjaro Safari..So there you go..That's my choices..What are yours in order.?

HS and AK are equal to me...I feel bad ranking one higher, because I don't really like one more than the other.

Magic Kingdom~ The first moment I see the castle, it still takes my breath away every visit.
Hollywood Studios
Epcot and AK are tied for me. I love World Showcase at Epcot, I could wander "around the world" for hours, but I don't like Future World all that much. Most times we visit Epcot, we don't explore Future World at all, we just head right to WS.

Magic Kingdom and Epcot are tied for first place in my estimation. I honestly cannot choose one over the other.
Second is Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Last place is Animal Kingdom.

I'm curious, for those who don't love the Studios, is there something in particular that you don't care for or feel like is missing from HS? I did hear a discussion on the DIS podcast the other week that one of their panelists was of the opinion that HS had too many different themes going on and there wasn't a clear direction. The lines between the different "sections" are blurred together too much. I think this is a valid observation, but there are so many attractions and events here that I love that I never even noticed this flaw until he pointed it out. Certainly this is a question that is open to many different opinions, but given the diversity of the attractions here (shows, quiet rides, thrill rides, ambiance), I was surprised to see it take the number 4 spot on so many lists.

Me too--and loving the cats as much as we do, I always feel weird about this being my least favorite park--like I have to explain it to people. "No, no. I love the Tigers and the Giraffes, and the Monkeys. It's just the feel of the park overall."

I've got too many trips to WDW (over 40) under my belt plus twice to Disneyland. I've included all the Disney theme parks I've been to. My park rankings are as follows:

1. Disneyland
2. California Adventure
3. Hollywood Studios
4. Animal Kingdom
5. Magic Kingdom
6. Epcot

Disneyland IMO is the best park. It has the most attractions and is very well done. It's not perfect, but it's an excellent experience. Although their castle is short biggrin . Cinderella Castle has it all over Sleeping Beauty Castle.

I have been to Cars Land and I shall never recover Wink World of Color is "pure Disney magic" as Sheldon said. Also, it has to rank pretty high. See my signature for the reason. Smile

Hollywood Studios is my favorite out of the WDW parks because my favorite attractions (Star Tours, Tower of Terror, Rock 'n Roller Coaster) are all over there. Plus I love the feel of the place. It's great. Next would be Animal Kingdom. I love Everest and the Safari, plus Dinoland USA. The trails are fun to walk, too. I rarely go to the zoo, so I consider Animal Kingdom to be my zoo trip with rides. Laughing out loud

Magic Kingdom is pretty far down on the list. Don't get me wrong; I adore Magic Kingdom, but it's not the same having been to Disneyland. It's still wonderful and has many wonderful attractions that are not in Disneyland.

Epcot is my least favorite. I did not like the way they redid Test Track. I'm not a Mission: Space fan. I like Soarin' (which is in California Adventure!!!) and The Seas with Nemo and Spaceship Earth, and of course World Showcase. I like spending evenings in Epcot walking around, looking through the shops, and going to dinner. Epcot definitely has the best food.

#1 is easily Magic Kingdom. It just screams Disney to me.

#2 is a tie between Epcot and DHS. Epcot has amazing food but lacks on rides. DHS has the best thrill rides but is severely lacking in the dining department.

#3 is Animal Kingdom, not because I don't love it (LOVE EE, Yak & Yeti, Finding Nemo...) but because it is smaller it holds the least of my favorite things.

Honestly - I'm just bored there. I love the shopping and love Fantasmic!, but other than that there is nothing that I really can't live without. With the possible exception of a carrot cake cookie. I think that I would go there more often if we usually had Park Hoppers, but I usually don't add that on to my ticket so we just skip DHS.

I'am also curious ( on another site of bygone days ) people hated Mickeys Sorceror Hat, and the love for HS was never felt..Weird...I love Fantasmic...Beauty & the Beast...Indy....Star Tours..Toy Story Mania...( notice my fear of fast moving things ) Love Starring Rolls for the ultimate cakes...Fun food at 50's....Also some nice shops for those little souvenirs... yay

I honestly don't really know why HS is my least favourite. I do like it and go there at least once every trip. Maybe the size ( it's smaller than the others) or the theming. I'm not a huge Star Wars or Indiana Jones fan.

1. EPCOT - Has my favorite ride Soarin. Also could spend most of a day (and all the money to my name) in World Showcase
2. Magic Kingdom - So many classic rides that just scream Disney. Its hard to not smile when walking down Main Street.
3. Animal Kingdom - Great rides, and great food but just never holds my interest for a full day.
4. Hollywood Stuidos - Its hard to rank any last, but I feel like with Hollywood Studios after we do our favorite rides there is not a lot to hold our attention. Not great shopping in my opinion, and not a big fan of the dining either.

I really can't choose between MK and Epcot as my favorite. I love the relaxed feeling I get when I walk into Epcot. It's just so breezy and lovely to me. MK is just so classic and I love love love the rides there. So I think it really depends on my mood as to which is my favorite.

I love AK and HS about the same, but I think right now AK has a slight edge. Maybe it's because I really just want to ride Everest right now? laugh Though HS does have my favorite ride (Tower of Terror), but the rest of the park was kind of lacking to me. But on my next trip I'm planning on spending a LOT of time in HS to really explore so maybe my love for the park will grow!
