Your Favourite Resort Lounge...

Good Evening All..Well it's almost 7.00pm here in Scotland, and I'am just about to put my feet up and have a nice cool beer with a whisky chaser.. yeah .Now I've only stayed at three resorts on my five trips, but my favourite lounge for a nice quiet drink was P.O.F.Q...Excuse my memory but the name of the dude playing some cool jazz was Elliot somebody...This is where I get shot....My worst resort lounge is at my beloved Riverside...There I was on my first stay enjoying a quiet drink when all of a sudden I heard this rush of kids running into the lounge, shouting and screaming.I thought at first some Boy band led by Justin Beaverbrook had arrived...Worst was to follow...This dude dressed in a 70's Leo Sayer clown outfit started to hammer out on the ivories..Now before all you Bob Jackson fans point your guns at me...Let me say being a musician myself, the guy is good,he can play that piano like there's no tomorrow, and the kids loved him as much as their parents, but sorry,it didn't do anything for me...Well it did...I finished my drink and headed off to my room..So I'am really looking forward to what I've read as a hidden gem at WDW..The Territory Lounge at WL..Anyway to my question..What is your favourite resort lounge and why.?

Top of the World Lounge at Bay Lake Tower, hand down. The caveat being that you have to be a DVC member or with a DVC member to use it.

As far as general access I am quite fond of Mizners because I'm a Jazz fan and I very much enjoy the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra that plays from 4pm-10pm.

Martha's Vineyard, Crew's Cup and Ale and Compass if you wanna stretch your legs.

Do you consider Jelly Rolls or ESPN Zone a resort lounge? They're pretty convenient to the Epcot resorts.

I like Mizner's also. It's very relaxing and they have some good nibbles also.

I like both lounge/bars in AKL and Wilderness Lodge.

Both resorts are so spectacular in their own right, so it's fun just being there.

You know, I'm never much of a fan of crowded-and-noisy, but I do quite like the Tambu Lounge at the Poly. There is table seating in the bar area with cozy chairs around cocktail tables, and of course, it's lovely. There's a smoking area just downstairs and outside for folks that puff, and it s great pre-fireworks spot. We've had chat and drinks at Tambu, and then headed down to watch the fireworks from the beach more than once.

Oh, definitely Top of the World. My family quite often goes up there for appetizers before heading to MK for a late EMH. Nonalcoholic for me please! Wink Nice atmosphere, not crowded around 5, but you have to be with a DVC member or a DVC member.
