Your Favourite Time Of Day...

This week we watched our DVD from our last trip and enjoyed all the highlights, however my favourite moments were first thing in the morning..Having a 6.30 am walk from Mansion buildings over the bridge at PORS to the food court..The only people you could see were the staff at their counters..Getting on the bus at the west depot at 7.00am and there's not a person on it apart from ourselves..Arriving at DHS for the rope drop and walking straight onto Toy Story Mania..Walking towards Star Tours and it's so quiet..Remember this is in July by the way....Now I've yet to stay in the parks beyond midnight, but this year I'll make a big effort...So what is your favourite time of day at WDW.?..

awesome Night time ... It adds a certain magical something to the parks.
I am also a morning person and like the quiet and relative cool but there is just something about being at the Magic Kingdom past midnight with my fine lady by my side that seems exta magical muchlove
So King F make the effort even just the once (you can always sleep on the plane ride home)

I'm not a morning person in real life, but I do love mornings on vacation--so peaceful while the rest of the world is still sleeping.

My absolute favorite though is late night EMH--especially when MK is open until 2am. On my 2012 Disney buddies trip, the last two hours at MK were AMAZING. We walked on Dumbo, Barnstormer, Small World, and Pirates. At Pirates, we even had our own boat and the boats in front and in back of us were empty. If you're looking to experience spooky, ride Pirates ALONE at 1:00 in the morning. I've never thought of that ride as creepy until that experience. I love WDW nighttime for the same reason that I love WDW early morning (the only day I've ever NOT done rope drop it was torrential downpouring during a tropical storm so we waited an hour for the rain to slow a bit), but it has the added benefits that I'm much more alert at night and the lighting is beautiful.

I hate afternoons--hot, sticky, often raining, crowded, long waits. We always leave the park in the afternoon and grab a nap or swim or sort out the day's haul of pins.

We are morning people and can't even sleep in on vacation. It is nice to get up early, have a relaxing breakfast and get to the parks early. That way you can head back to the room for a nap or a swim before starting all over again for the night.

I'm a morning person so I'd rather get up early, although for us UK-ers, 7am the first morning after we arrive at WDW feels like noon so it's easy to make RD the first week of our holiday awesome I love the excitement of heading for a favourite ride first thing and that first couple of hours in the park is unmissable for me. And if you are wondering what breakfast by the pool at WL is like before 7am, here's a photo....

I'm a morning person too ... Without fail, I'm awake, singing and happy at ten o'clock in the morning. laugh

But seriously, it is totally worth the effort getting up early. I love the sparkling clean parks at rope drop, no crowds whatsoever, cast members seeing their first guests of the day ... Love it!

Definitely the morning. I enjoy the morning hours because of low crowds, easier access to the big ticket rides and the weather isn't as hot. I've never experienced rope drop though I do my best to be in the parks during that first 10-20 minutes after the park opens.

I'm definitely a morning person. I wished I had the stamina stay for the evenings - even if I go back to my room early afternoon I find myself returning no later than 11:00 p.m. Oh well wheelchair waiting .

I love the magic kingdom at night. When the fireworks have long since cleared the sky there is a pure and gentle feel that comes over the park. The hustle seems absent and the few people that remain seem to relish the magic as much as we do.

We are morning people. Even after 30+ years of going to Disneyworld. Now that our kids are grown and making their own family trips they seem to start and end their days later than we ever did as a family. For my wife and I we still are at whichever park when the rope drops and we are usually back at our camper at Ft Wilderness by 5 PM. It is a real effort to stay or go back for any evening stuff. The only times we make sure we go in the evenings is during Christmas time. There is something magical about seeing the different Christmas presentations at night. Our favorite is Father Christmas in the UK. Or even the Osborne lights at DS at a must see to believe show. We just got back from a week at Ft. Wilderness and never even saw the MK fireworks, even though we could see them right from the campgroud. But we did make early opening for MK.

I'm a night owl. Definitely night. Mornings...no. Just...no. The earliest I have ever been up and going at WDW was last trip when I got up at 8 am and we got to MK at 9:20. I see the appeal of getting a lot done in the morning...I'm simply not a morning person.
