Hee hee hee!! I'm not sure I've ever seen that angle! Are you taking that from a second floor somewhere?

Nope. That's right on the walkway in front of it.

If you do not know where this is from, we will have to confiscate your Disney Fan membership card! Smile

Now that's not fair! Maybe people haven't been able to make it to the Magic Kingdom since the re-vamp laugh

But what's their excuse for never having seen the movie? That would have given them a big hint. Smile

Here's a blast from the past. This is the lower level of The Land pavilion before Soarin' came in, and while they still had Food Rocks.

If we didn't like Buzz so much, we'd probably just skip Tomorrowland altogether with Space Mt. and the TTA closed!

You know, I don't think I've been on that since I was little. The line was always too long! Same with the Raceway - just doesn't have the magic it used to. Not a fan of Stitch, and the Monsters Inc show is very take it or leave it for me. That leaves Buzz -- oh, and the Carousel of Progress - guess we do go for that as well Smile

Astro Orbiter is fun, but rarely worth the long line. If there are no crowds we do it, but otherwise we pass.

We're the same way. NEVER wait in that Astro Orbiter line anymore. Tomorrowland is going to have to be just Buzz when we're there (though I think TTA might be open at that point...)

How many of you have been on this ride? Smile

I wonder if they still have the spitting camel that will spit at you WHILE you're on the ride if you are just at the right height. I know there's one that spits at passers by!

I have a hard time getting motivated for the Dumbo knock-offs. Especially since they always seem to have a line.

Though it's just a 'hub and spoke' spinning ride, for some reason Aladdin's Magic Carpets is always a 'must-do' for me. The spitting camels just add to the allure. They are even more interesting when you consider that they are recycled; they were originally used in the Aladdin's Royal Caravan parade at DHS (then MGM) in the mid 90's.

Only thing I hate is when you have a little kid in the back row of your carpet, with the controls to raise and lower the carpet, and he's too scared to raise it! laugh

I remember that parade!

Also, isn't there a control on the front that actually makes the camels spit? Why do I remember that for some reason?

The control in front pivots the Carpet either up in the back or down in the back. The control in the back seat raises and lowers it.

Great AKL shot. It really makes me miss that place. We're thinking about taking a quick trip in May, just because it's been forever. Unfortunately I fear the crowds.

I think we were on the 4th floor - the DVC floor.
