I suppose this might qualify as a Disney photo, since Kermit and Miss Piggy are now part of the Disney family, but since they are not really at a Disney location, I'll post this here.

Saw Kermit being a bit friendly with Miss Piggy at a synchrotron beamline.

there was a hillside garden which was tended by the same guy for the last 20 or so years of his life which the residents all preserved...this is a little bit of it

Then I sat and played with the lens I had...a Sigma 18-210mm. The only subject was a rogue sprig of leaves from this bush...it was calling out to be photographed!

I've never seen so many seals anywhere - even in aquariums - than I did at Fisherman's Wharf...

So, whilst I was an inmate for two hours at Alcatraz, I spied this seagull 'resting' in the prevailing wind so snapped a couple of pics of him

I'd love to wake up to a view like that every morning.

Taken yesterday whilst I was on set waiting to do something...processed a bit to make it a bit more dramatic. The clouds and light rays are real, I've just pee'd about with the saturation.

I took my new camera out to the WWII Reenactment this weekend for a little fun! It was really my first time carrying a nice big camera and spare lenses. I now understand why photographers carry more than one camera on them. I had a good time and think I got some nice shots.

I didn't read your caption when I first looked at the photos, and I thought to myself "Oh my. I didn't know the Kristen was THAT old to had snapped photos during WW II!"

Smile

If it's any consolation, you don't look a day over 50!

Ummm, gee, thanks - maybe. wink

I'm glad that the shots gave you a bit of a time warp though. It was really difficult to try and cut out all the spectators and just focus on getting the period image. That was actually one of the reasons that I went with black and whites. There were so many spectators on site and when I processed the images this way none of the modern poops of color stood out.
