Wouldn't it be nice to see more artistic pictures from members? I'm sure many of us took pictures even when we're not at a Disney theme park.... don't we?

OK, so I'll start.
Before my move, I lived closed to Lake Michigan. During the summer months, one of my favorite things to do is pack a lunch, and walk to the lake. Then, spend hours just laying down and enjoying a nice, lazy afternoon. The lakefront and the view is always amazing, so I often took a lot of pictures. Here's one.

It's near a town called Clovelly which is about a 4 hour drive away. Thats probably considered close by you guys but for the average Brit it's a long way.

One of my favourite subjects to photograph is cars on show, they don't move at the wrong time and never complain that you're taking too long with a shot. Oddly, my second favourite subject is animals, which require good timing and a bit of luck as there's often only one chance at a shot.
Anyway... here's our weekend toy, it's an MG 'F'. It was 14 years old when the pic was taken, rear drive, mid engine, 120bhp and 0-60 in around 8.5 seconds. This was actually taken with my old phone that only had a 2mp camera.

Nope. Didn't get a chance to go anywhere else. I was there for a week attending a conference. So there wasn't that much time to do island hoping. I did get to see quite a bit of Kauai, though.

That is at Gatlinburg, Tennessee. They have a mountain resort area (i.e. tourist trap). You can go up using cable cars, and have the option of riding downhill back on them, or take the "fast" route down (for a fee) on the slide thingy.
