Your Top 5 Disney Animated Movies Of All Time...

Well I watched " Frozen " last night on Blu Ray for the second time, and I must admit, it's right up there with my all time favourites..But my DW asked me if it would make it into my top ten...Hmm..Hard question that one, but it got me thinking ( again ) What is my top five all time favourite animated Disney movies...So here's my choice...In 5th place..Tangled..In 4th place..Beauty and the Beast..In 3rd place..Frozen....In 2nd place...The Princess and the Frog...And in first place..( drum roll ) The Lion King....P.S...I do love other classic ones and have most of them ( total of 27 ) But I do love the CGI that film makers use to great effect..I still love it when I see Bolt pop his head out the window and the wind blows his fur,awesome..Over to you good people..What is your top five.?

I don't know that I can rank them, but I'm going to go with Alice in Wonderland, Sleeping Beauty, Tangled, Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Frozen.

I think. It's tough to say for sure because there's not enough evidence to see if Frozen stand the test of time. After a thousand viewings, will I no longer be able to mentally fill-in Frozen's many plot holes with its music and charm? We'll see. Previously in that slot was Wreck-It-Ralph, no, Robin Hood, no, Dumbo, no Beauty and the Beast... gaah Who can choose?!!

Let's do a Pixar top 5, too...Incredibles, Toy Story 3, Up, Toy Story, Finding Nemo. That's a lot easier. Fewer choices.

I'am sorry, but The Nightmare Before Christmas is not a Disney animated classic...Therefore you have to pick another, or I'll disqualify you... waiting

1 Aladdin, I'm a huge Robin Williams fan
2 Lion King
3 Bambi
4 Beauty and the Beast
5 Little Mermaid

Frozen is to new for me, but it felt like the golden age of Disney musicals so I was very excited to see and hear it. It is written for broadway in a pretty direct way. You could almost bet it could easily follow the Alladin premier. I hope the studio takes note of the success and goes back to this formula. Pixar work is very cool, but a Disney Classic is hard to beat and since frozen has already broke all the records in under a year I think it's a clear message we all enjoy the formula.

1. The Lion King
2. Finding Nemo
3. The Princess & The Frog
4. The Little Mermaid
5. Beauty And The Beast

I have many more Cinderella, all toy story films, snow white and I will probably have Frozen to add to that but seen as I only seen it once at the cinema and have yet to watch my bought DVD I cant give it a ranking!!!

I'm partial to the 'Disney decade' films myself. My top 5, in no particular order, would probably be: Alice in Wonderland, Tangled, Aladdin, Lion King, Hercules. Honorable mentions would be Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, and Little Mermaid biggrin

I can't possibly choose an order but my top 5 if I had to choose would be Aladdin, Lion King, Little Mermaid, Alice in Wonderland and does Pixar count? cuz if so I would throw Finding Nemo in there.. If not then it would be a tie between Mulan and Frozen in that final spot. Oh or Aristocats! <--- see its just too hard to pick

Beauty and the Beast is definitely my number one. The music alone.

The Little Mermaid and Song of the South are favorites

Then there's a whole mess of em on the next tier, Mulan, Lion King, Incredibles, Herc, Wall-E, Frozen, Tangled, Enchanted, Jungle Book...too many

Honorable Mentions: Aladdin and Robin Hood

Yeah, I admit I was spoiled with the Renaissance. The decision was so hard to make!

The little mermaid: a modern classic, it's breath taking
Beauty and the beast: I just can't begin to explain how wonderful it is

ok ok ok... I've been thinking hard on this one... I've been collecting Disney movies for years (still have the VHS copies packed away) I am also going to admit while I like Frozen, it was not at all what I expected. And at one point I was actually tired of all the singing.... I have 41 animated movies on DVD and a lot of the others too! With that said....

1. Beauty and the Beast - Bell is my all time favorite. I remember sitting in my room and rewinding and watching this one over and over and over and over.

2. Fantasia - this is another one I would watch over and over, I would put in on just to fall asleep to the music

3. Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue -ok, really ALL OF THEM can that count as one. I love Tink!

4. Toy Story - I love the friendship the toys have!!!

5. Finding Nemo - Dory makes this movie for me. She is hysterical.

Tangled, Up, Ratatouille, Peter Pan and Snow White would round out the top 10 I think!!! gaah

this was hard! There is a little animation in Mary Poppins... does that count??????

1. Sleeping Beauty (has our wedding song in it)
2. Lilo and Stitch
3. The Rescuers (first Disney film I saw on big screen)
4. Beauty and the Beast
5. Mulan

I have to say that may have been the hardest list to make ever. I have so many favorites.
