It actually makes me irate that the Muligatawny Soup is on there, which I LOVE, but they never have at Boma anymore!

The 'Ohana bread pudding is one of my favorites, but make sure you burn off all the alcohol! (My family made this for the holidays and it was..um..heady!) laugh

I'd like the recipe to Beaches And Cream's chili, although it tastes very similar to my family's recipe. (Which I don't know...)

Here's one I'd love to try:

Le Cellier Cheddar Cheese Soup

Not always easy to find Moosehead, though...

Do you have an ADR for Le Cellier this trip, UL? I can't remember. If you do--PLEASE get this soup. If you don't, then plan on getting an ADR at Le Cellier next trip! silly

I am a fan of the food there, particularly the bread. However I will say I have had poor service there a couple of times and I haven't been there that many times.

I really like Le Cellier. Did you not like the food or just the service?

Yeah, I read your report and was using "you" in the plural sense. Smile

Both your and his trip reports seemed to indicate that the service was the main problem. I like the food enough that I would have given them a second chance, but it sounds like you guys are really turned off. It's also pretty expensive so I can see not giving them a second chance. That's probably a downside of the fact that they're always sold out, they can be sloppy sometimes with no repercussions.

I see in your itinerary that you are going to Teppan Edo. That's a pretty nice place that can be fun for the kids. Was that the objective? A more kid-friendly "nice" place?

Yes! It was between there and the Biergarten. My MIL and I really wanted to try Japan though and I think the kids will be entertained!

Both are great choices! I haven't been to Biergarten for a while, but I was at Teppan Edo recently and very much enjoyed it. (So healthy, too!)
