I had woken up early on my day off to go to Downtown Disney at Tren-D to get Zendaya's new cd (the other option was about handling the tween years and I'm not really a tween). With the purchase they gave out a wristband. I had gotten a green one. The other option was a purple one which I'm guessing was the maybe you'll get in if we have the space.
Then I later returned, she was there 5-7 but I had to be there before 6 since my wristband expired then. I found the line, I started to get in line where there were a few others but I was directed by cast members to head immediately into the store behind a mother and her daughter who were in front of me. I was very excited since this was my official first celebrity meet and greet. (I had previously met Dennis DeYoung from Styx to write a story about him performing at my university for the school newspaper). Then it was my turn to get an autograph and picture with her!
I then proceeded to exit the store with the biggest smile I've ever had and I believe other guest seemed to notice that I was extremely happy over something. I stopped to snap a picture of the autographed cd case since I couldn't wait to share with my friends and make them jealous because I was here to get it.
I was a little disappointed because she wasn't very talkative but I'm guessing that she was just tired or does so many of these, that she doesn't really chat while signing. She did ask me my name though before signing.
Just for those of you who don't know who she is, she is on Shake It Up on Disney Channel and she was also on Dancing With The Stars for the current season but not sure if she's still on or not. It was a great experience and worth it for the photo and autograph.
