Genevieve Gorder at Epcot This Weekend

If you're heading out to Epcot this weekend, it's not too late to get some expert advice from "Dear Genevieve" star Genevieve Gorder. In this opening week of Epcot's 18th Annual International Flower and Garden Festival, the HGTV personality is the first of the celebrity presenters to offer up advice to guests as part of the HGTV Designer Presentation series.

You can catch Genevieve as she presents "The Art of Sculpting Space" at noon and 3 p.m. both today and Sunday.

Lineup Announced For Epcot's Flower Power Concert Series

It's become an annual - or perennial - favorite of Disney guests. We're talking, of course, of Epcot's International Flower and Garden Festival and the accompanying Flower Power Concert Series. This year's lineup was recently announced and will feature artists and music from the 60's, 70's and 80's. Here are the dates and acts:

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas Celebrate 10th Anniversary at Epcot

With Michael Douglas' health issues a constant headline, it was nice to see he and wife of 10 years, actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, out and about enjoying a day in the parks.

The celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in Epcot, with kiddos Dylan (at left, age 10) and Carys (at right, age 7).

While Zeta-Jones and Douglas' anniversary is technically November 18th, the couple was seen in Epcot on the 24th.

Kodak to End Imagination! Pavilion Sponsorship

The relationship between Walt Disney parks and Eastman Kodak is soon to end after over a half-century long run. The partnership started in 1955, when Disneyland originally opened, and at present there are over 50 Kodak picture spots in Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Although Kodak will not disappear completely from Disney parks, the presence will be slightly decreased.

Kodak has provided corporate sponsorship for Mickey's Philharmagic in the Magic Kingdom and the Imagination! Pavilion at Epcot. Support for the Imagination! Pavilion and Tomorowland theater will end as a result.

Plan Now For 2011's Flower and Garden Festival

Want to say good-bye to winter and hello to spring with a Disney flair? Then mark your calendars now for the 18th annual "Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival."

The Festival is set to take place in Epcot March 2, 2011 through May 15, 2011.

Guests to the festival can expect some 300 million blooms throughout 300 acres of Epcot. Celebrity speakers and the Flower Power concert series are just a few of the things planned to usher in spring at Disney.

Via Napoli Grand Opening Celebration Set for September 10

Disney-goers now have a second table-service restaurant option in Epcot's Italy pavillion. Via Napoli, currently open for walk-up service only, will see a grand opening celebration September 10.

Originally standing for the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, it was actually intended to be much more of the basis for Walt Disney World than the Magic Kingdom. Eventually however his initial vision proved too grand to be carried out and it became the less expansive park that you see today.
