Animal Kingdom’s Wildlife Tracking Center Renamed the Science Center
What was once known as the Wildlife Tracking Center at Disney's Animal Kingdom has recently been renovated and had a name change. The area is now called the Science Center.
The Science Center is home to the park's Science Operations team.
New science center is located in Rafiki's Planet Watch
These cast members are the scientists and animal care professionals who work with the teams in Disney's Animals, Science, and Environment to care for the animal at the Animal Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Guests can watch many behind-the-scenes activities at the Science Center, including watching the behavioral husbandry cast members as they coordinate training and enrichment programs or the population biologists as they work on animal management plans.
The members of the Science Operations team not only work with Disney's Animal Kingdom animals but they're working hard to conserve species in their natural habitats too.
The Science Center lab is located at Rafiki's Planet Watch.
