There are so many beautiful resorts at Walt Disney World, it can be hard to choose which one is right for your vacation, that's just one of the reasons our "5 Reasons" series is so popular with readers. In 2013 we published an article titled 5 Reasons To Love Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa. I just returned from a fantastic stay at this resort and had to share with you why it's still on point. Take a peek at Even More Reasons to Love Disney's Saratoga Springs.
The size of this resort can be a turn off for some families, that's why staying in the Congress Park rooms at Saratoga Springs is a must for me and my family. This prime location is a short walk from the Carriage House, but it's also an easy stroll to Downtown Disney across a beautiful new pedestrian bridge that leads right to the Sassagoula Steamboat Co. and the Downtown Disney Bus Station. That gives this location some of the easiest hotel to hotel transportation off the monorail line. While staying in Congress Park we used the resort bus to get to the Parks, but when we were headed to another hotel we simply hopped on the direct bus from Downtown Disney.
Staying just across the lake from this world class shopping, dining, and entertainment complex put so many recreational options at our fingertips that we had more fun on our non-park days than ever before. Have you ever considered heading to Walt Disney World without many Park days? Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is in a prime location to make that weekend getaway pay off, and it will only get better once Disney Springs is complete!
While I stand by the previous review of how great The Turf Club is last time, today I'm singing the praises of The Cheeseburger Flatbread at Artist's Palette. It is now on my must eat list whenever I stay at Saratoga Springs or just a boat ride away. This fun twist on the classic burger takes all the delicious flavors and layers them onto a flatbread for something to make your taste buds smile. Artist's Palette provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner served up for dining in or to-go!
Oh hey! Did you know that when the Paddock Pool was refurbished that The Paddock Grill began serving Breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as cocktails to sip while relaxing poolside. The menu at Paddock Grill isn't big, but it's made a positive impact for Guests staying in the more remote Paddock rooms.
My family loved our 2 Bedroom Villa with all the standard DVC amenities included, without having to spend a whole year's worth of points on it. For DVC Members, this resort offers rooms for some of the lowest points layouts on property. Because of its size Saratoga Springs is also a great go-to resort when you want to book a last minute trip using points. I'm all about a great view, and the Downtown Disney vista can be pretty stunning.
We loved our stay at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort, and it continues to be high on our list of getting the most bang for our Disney bucks. Leave a comment below and share you Saratoga Springs story with us!

Last September we stayed at Sartoga Springs in the Congress Park section and loved it. IMO the proximity to Downtown Disney and the convenience of transportation to other resorts make SSR almost in the same league as the Epcot and MK resorts. We will happily stay there again.

We own at SSR and love it. We do stay other places, but only because we want to try every DVC resort at some point and sometimes other locations are more beneficial to us for a particular trip. Once of the reasons that we bought here was that it's a nice place to stay even if you're not doing a "Disney" trip. Maybe we don't want to get tickets sometime and just enjoy a nice resort stay (ROFL). Also, it has the same benefit as BLT in that you can essentially bus from resort to resort by using the DTD marketplace stop as your "transfer point" and walking from DTD to SSR, meaning that no matter where you're going on property, you only ever wait for one mode of Disney transportation!

I have stayed at SSR once before a few years ago. Loved that it was such a short distance from DS and quick walk to the buses to the parks. I am again staying here in April. We requested the Congress Park section because it was highly recommended. I can't wait to go back and enjoy the great hospitality and all the ammenties.
