Walt wanted the utilidors because when he opened Disneyland, he saw a cowboy walking in Tomorrowland and that wasn't what he wanted to happen. To help prevent that from happening in Magic Kingdom, he planned for the utilidors so cast members had a way to get to where they work without disrupting the story line in the different areas of the park.
The International Flower and Garden Festival showcases the talents of the Disney's florists, landscapers and horticulturists every spring, but did you know that guests can get a peek behind the scenes at The Land's four unique greenhouse environments all throughout the year? This special one-hour walking tour is called "Behind the Seeds" and it's made to spark the imagination of anyone with an interest in gardening or natural sciences.
