If you're making plans to visit the Walt Disney World Resort this holiday season, there are two specialty holiday tours to add some magic to your visit. Both Disney's Yuletide Fantasy and Holiday D-Lights tours give guests a behind-the-scenes look at the holidays at Disney World.

D23: The Official Disney Fan Club has announced its slate of special events for 2016. Members will have the chance to attend special events on both coasts in addition to special advance screenings of films in select cities throughout the country.

New Flavor Lab Research and Development Facility Opening at Walt Disney World Resort

The Walt Disney World Resort has opened a brand-new, behind-the-scenes Flavor Lab where Disney's chefs, sommeliers, mixologists, and even front-of-house managers will be trained. The new research and development facility is not open to the general public.

Star Wars Launch Bay And Much More Coming Soon!

In addition to the big announcement about a total Star Wars Expansion at Disney's Hollywood Studios, there was some more exciting galactic news about what will be coming up in the next year to further incorporate the Star Wars Universe into the bi-coastal Disney Parks. Walt Disney World will get a number of these Star War enhancements for guests to enjoy while waiting for the new land to open.

Chase Continues Partnership with Disney Parks and Resorts

Walt Disney Parks and Resorts and Chase are continuing their marketing partnership which includes the Disney Chase Visa debit and credit cards and the popular Chase VIP Lounge at the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival and the addition of three cardholder-exclusive events at this year's festival.

All-New Tour Announced for Epcot’s World Showcase

There is an all-new walking tour available in Epcot's World Showcase that gives guests a chance to experience behind-the-scenes and the "onstage" magic in addition to enjoying a dining experience in Morocco.

Below It All: Utilidors Of The Magic Kingdom

You may have heard that there is a tunnel system under Magic Kingdom. There is a tunnel system below the Magic Kingdom Park called the utilidors. Walt wanted the utilidors because when he opened Disneyland, he saw a cowboy walking in Tomorrowland and that wasn't what he wanted to happen. To help prevent that from happening in Magic Kingdom, he planned for the utilidors so cast members had a way to get to where they work without disrupting the story line in the different areas of the park.
