Happy Tuesday! We're back with another news round-up from Walt Disney World! Today we have news about a Rivers of Light live-stream event, an expansion of the Minnie Vans service, and much more. Read on to find out more.
If you haven't had a chance to see Rivers of Light at Disney's Animal Kingdom you can catch a live-stream of it tonight on the Disney Parks Blog. The live-stream event will begin at 8:40 p.m. ET with a new blog post at the DPB.
The lockers at the Magic Kingdom have gone hi-tech! If you're planning on renting a locker at the theme park you'll find updated digital lockers now. The new system only takes U.S. currency and lockers are available in three sizes.
The Wild Africa Trek at Disney's Animal Kingdom has received TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence. The guided tour takes guests behind-the-scenes of the Harambe Reserve and includes a private safari and a meal on the savanna.
The new "Minnie Van" service at the Walt Disney World Resort has expanded to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. The vans will take guests anywhere on property including theme parks, other resort hotels, and Disney Springs.
And finally, Disney Vacation Club members can continue to take advantage of the Membership Magic Ever After special events and perks through the rest of 2017. The Member Lounge at Epcot will remain open through next year, member services has expanded its hours, and there are still a few seasonal events for DVC members.
