Artist Point at Disney's Wilderness Lodge recently welcomed back a guest-favorite fish to its nightly menu: the Copper River King Salmon. How popular is this Alaskan fish, you may ask? Turns out, patrons of Artist Point sign up for an email notification alerting them to the fact that the fish's season has arrived.
Hailing from the Copper River in Alaska, this salmon is available only a few weeks per year. Deep in color with a rich, nutty taste, Artist Point definitely makes the best out of the fish's short-lived season.Chef Marco Chaves prepares the salmon by roasting it on a cedar plank and then serving it up along side some baby veggies in a bacon-egg vinaigrette.
So, how about it? Anyone going to partake in the Copper River King Salmon at Artist Point?
