Babycakes NYC Vegan Bakery Opens in Downtown Disney

In a trifecta of deliciousness, three new food locations opened in Downtown Disney this month, replacing the spot vacated by McDonald's after the restaurant's contract expired with Disney last year.

Pollo Campero and Fresh Apeel offer your entrees, while Babycakes NYC -- a starlet New York City bakery that recently expanded to LA and now to Orlando -- offers the primary dessert options.

What makes this place different from any other you'll find in Disney World, however, is what you won't find in its cupcakes, breads, and cookies. The Vegan bakery is also egg-free, gluten-free, casein-free, and refined sugar-free -- perfect for guests with specialty diets!

The opening reviews are very positive, with the only complaints being that the cakes are quite heavy and dense due to the ingredients used. We can't wait to try them ourselves!
