Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Queue To Go Interactive

There seems to be a trend going on at Walt Disney World involving interactive queues for attractions. It's recently been announced Frontierland staple Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will be the next ride at WDW to jump aboard the interactive queue wagon.

Guests and fans of WDW are most likely already aware of other attractions queues getting the interactive treatment. Disney has updated the waiting areas of The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, the Haunted Mansion, and, most recent, Dumbo the Flying Elephant. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is next on the list to receive a queue area that will "immediately allow guests to immerse themselves in the story of an attraction while they wait to board."

While there is no set date for the unveiling of the new and improved queue area, we do know work on the update will take place overnight when the park is closed; hopefully this will translate into very little, if any, closure of the ride.
