Disney Cruise Line Celebrating the Holidays on the High Seas

Celebrate the holidays on the high seas this year during Disney Cruise Line's Very Merrytime Cruises starting in late November.

The Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, and Disney Fantasy will all be celebrating the holidays with special events and more through New Year's Eve.

Guests sailing on Thanksgiving Day will have a chance to enjoy a Thanksgiving feast and will get to visit with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse who will be dressed in their holiday attire. Football fans can catch the big games on the LED screens on the pool deck.

Special Christmas themed events on the Very Merrytime Cruises include King Triton's Tree Lighting Ceremony on the first night of the cruise, family holiday activities and youth holiday crafts, holiday storytellers, the Deck the Deck Holiday Party, and a special holiday edition of 'Til We Meet Again,' the DCL's final night farewell.

On Christmas morning Santa Claus and his elves will surprise all the kids on board and guests will be able to enjoy caroling and a traditional Christmas dinner. A midnight Mass is planned for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services are also planned. Hanukkah services will be held each day from December 16 through December 24.

The New Year's Eve cruises will feature a special New Year's Eve party with music, sparkling wine, and a midnight countdown.

The Very Merrytime Cruises take place on: the Disney Magic's seven-night Western Caribbean sailings from November 23 until December 28; the Disney Wonder's four- and five-night Bahamian and Caribbean cruises from November 23 until December 30; the Disney Dream's three- and four-night Bahamian cruises from November 24 until December 29; and the Disney Fantasy's seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruises from November 22 until December 27.

If only my budget would allow. I think this would be a fantastic way to spend the holiday.
