Happy Friday! Today's round-up is dedicated to Disney Cruise Line news! We're talking about new sailing itineraries for 2018, new adventures in Amsterdam, a new Beauty and the Beast musical show, and much more! Let's sail away!
In the summer of 2018 Disney Cruise Line is sailing to new ports with new itineraries including visits to new destinations in Italy and Ireland. On June 16, 2018, the Disney Magic is sailing a seven-night cruise from Barcelona, and on June 23, 2018, the Magic will sail a seven-night cruise from Civitavecchia (Rome) to Barcelona.
During a seven-night British Isles cruise in September 2018, the Magic will make its first-ever stop in Cork, Ireland. For more information on all the new summer 2018 sailings visit this page.
This summer the Disney Magic is also sailing Europe and will stop for the first time in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Guests can enjoy sightseeing tours and Port Adventures, including a stop in a wooden shoe workshop. Other adventures include stops at the Delft Pottery Workshop and learning to paint like Van Gogh.
The Disney Dream will be home to an all-new Beauty and the Beast musical show. The new show is set to debut in November. Check out a video detailing the creation of the show here.
And finally, Karl Holz, the president of New Vacation Operations and Disney Cruise Line has announced his retirement effective February 15, 2018.
