Recently, we brought you a story about the Disney Institute helping to train employees for this year's Super Bowl. It appears the Institute continues to branch out beyond Florida borders with its training.
First, the new Barclays Center in Brookly, New York, has enlisted the help of the Institute to train its staff prior to its opening in September. Center officials are looking to impart a "Disney World type of experience" and "street-to-seat customer service and hospitality" to those heading to the Center for games and shows.
Next, Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana has teamed up with Disney to provide Disney Institute Training at its campus. The training will focus on imparting customer service, leadership and creativity skills to students.
