Let's wrap up this week with a few bits of Disney news you may have missed!
The Disney Travel Company is offering a brand new package including room, theme park ticket and dining plan at select Disney Resort hotels, for arrivals most nights Jan. 1 through March 9, 2019. This Play, Stay, Dine and Save package will put by up to $500 for a family of four based on a five-night/six-day vacation. If this sounds like the package for you, be sure to contact your Disney Vacation Planner today!
Reservations are now open for Sebastian's Bistro at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. You can get a Sneak Peek at the Menu, complete with photos, over on the Disney Food Blog. While we're talking food news, this October at Sprinkles Cupcakes has a special Strawberry-Champagne Cupcake to mark breast cancer awareness month.
In a shocking turn of foodie news, this week snack and beverages prices went up all over Disney World. While regular guests have become used the Disney nickel and dime routine, the staggering increase that occurred this week seems aggressive at best. Some snacks, such as bottled sodas, Mickey pretzels, and turkey legs, saw sudden price increases of a dollar or more.
Marilyn West and Stephen Lim have been named as the new 2019-2020 Walt Disney World Resort Ambassadors. The talented pair will fill the role as representatives of Walt Disney World Resort, our guests, cast members and heritage to the outside world. Our hearty congratulations to West and Lim!
