Disney News Round-up: New Restaurants Coming to Disney Springs, Frozen Summer Games, and More

Happy Thursday! We've almost made it through this shortened week, and today we have another news round-up full of fun Disney news. Just when you thought Disney Springs couldn't grow any more we have new of five new restaurants coming by 2108. Read on to find out more.

Disney Springs has announced the addition of several new restaurants including Wine Bar George (late 2017), The Edison (2017), and a revamped Portobello (2017). The two new names announced yesterday are: Jaleo, a Spanish restaurant from Chef Jose Andres' ThinkFoodGroup and Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill from the one and only Wolfgang Puck.

If you've dreamed of being a chef onboard Disney Cruise Line, you should check out the Palo Be Our Chef experience on the Disney Fantasy. Guests will cook side by side with Palo's chefs, sample their creations, and receive a personalized Palo chef's jacket and more.

If you're looking to celebrate Father's Day in Disney Springs, stop by Morimoto Asia for a complimentary pint of Crooked Can Beer Company's Barrel Breaker Lager. It's free with any entree purchase.

The Frozen Summer Games are in full swing at Disney's Blizzard Beach. The games run through August 13 and guests can choose to be Team Olaf or Team Kristoff.

And finally, despite rather dismal reviews, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales has pushed Disney's global box office total past $3 billion.
