The Marketplace Co-Op is scheduled to open later this spring in the Downtown Disney Marketplace, and one of the boutiques guests will find inside is Disney Centerpiece.
The Co-Op is billed as a "testing laboratory" for Disney merchandise and will feature six different boutiques including Beautifully Disney, Cherry Tree Lane, D-Tech on Demand, The Trophy Room, and Zoey and Pickles.
The merchandise coming to Disney Centerpiece is an eclectic mix of home decor items, some inspired by Disney attractions.
One of the collections is inspired by Adventureland and Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room. This collection includes glassware, plates, and other kitchen items featuring logos and images from Adventureland.
The Adventureland collection also includes a mini ceramic Orange Bird, miniature ceramic Dole Whips, colorful ceramic elephants straight out of the Jungle Cruise, in addition to glassware and other items.
Disney Centerpiece will also be selling a collection of home goods inspired by the themed lands at Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom. This collection includes salt and pepper shakers that look like the Mad Tea Party ride vehicles, plates with the names of the themed lands, and miniature ceramic castles.
The Marketplace Co-Op will be open in the next few months and is located in the former home of Team Mickey in the Downtown Disney Marketplace.
