Happy Saturday and welcome to a short attraction-focused round-up! The Magic Kingdom is the source of some interesting and exciting attraction and entertainment news this week. Let's check it out.
Stitch's Great Escape is moving to "seasonal operation" as of October 2 and will only be open as attendance demand. The attraction's last day of regular operation is October 1. Stitch's Great Escape opened in tomorrowland in 2004 and stars the alien from 2002's Lilo & Stich.
In happier news, The Muppets Present...Great Moments in American History debuts in Liberty Square on October 2.
This new show stars Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear and The Great Gonzo, and is hosted by James "J.J." Jefferson, Liberty Square town crier, and the always patriotic Sam the Eagle. The Muppets will retell the story of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the midnight ride of Paul Revere during the performances.
Guests can catch the new Muppets live show several times each day just outside the Hall of Presidents.
