Can't make it to Disney World with the family this Memorial Day weekend but still want something "Disney" to do? Why not head out to your local AMC theater to take in a few Disney Pixar films on the big screen? Starting today, Friday, May 25 and running through Monday, May 28, AMC Theaters will be showing a selection of animated films from Disney Pixar for $6 per person.
The films up for rotation on the big screen this weekend are: "Toy Story 3," "Ratatouille," "Up" and "WALL*E." Each flick will be accompanied by a "classic" Pixar short film and an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the newest Disney Pixar film, "Brave."
Sun Dee Larson, vice president of Film Marketing at AMC, says of the popular Disney Pixar films hitting the big screen:
We're excited to provide our guests with an opportunity to take the whole family out to the theatre to enjoy some of the most treasured movies of all time, plus give our guests the chance to see a behind-the-scenes look at 'Brave.'
