Epcot’s Canadian Lumberjack Show Replaced by Canadian Holiday Voyageurs

The Canadian Lumberjack Show has thrown its last ax at Epcot's Canada pavilion. The lumberjacks performed their last show on November 24 and have been replaced by the Canadian Holiday Voyageurs. The lumberjacks first appeared in the pavilion in October 2014.

Canadian lumberjack show ends at Epcot

The Canadian Holiday Voyageurs started performing on Friday, November 27 and will remain in the Canada pavilion throughout the holiday season.

The lumberjack show featured four lumberjacks (who actually hailed from Florida, not Canada) who participated in ax throwing, speed sawing, and log rolling. The show replaced fan favorite Off Kilter, the Celtic rock band that had performed at Epcot for 17 years.

There is no word yet on what type of entertainment will be added to the Canada pavilion once the holiday season is over.

I never did get to see this show in person, but from what I heard I wasn't missing a lot. I do hope that they find something good to put in as a longer tern replacement.

The lumberjacks were less than stellar. Bring back a band. And... maybe more seating in that area for viewing. Sadly, we aren't ALL 20 or 30 something anymore.

Lumberjack show was not very engaging. Every year when Off Kilter was performing we caught the show. Energetic performances are welcomed as most people need some uplifting to get through punishing park days. Grandkids loved the music too. Music music music....
