Explore the World of Beer at the 2013 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

Though it is called the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival - this annual event at Epcot is also an exciting spot to explore a whole new world of beer! Regular reader Erik H. wrote to us to say that as a new beer drinker the Festival has really opened up his horizons when it comes to beer. He's headed back down in October and wanted to know where to start his next exploration into the world of beer.

Our friends over at the Disney Food Blog have put together a fantastic Beer Crawl to make your way around World Showcase Lagoon with. This is by no means an exhaustive list of all the wonderful beers that the Food & Wine Festival has to offer. In fact, it barely tips the scale because the festival's Marketplace booths are offering up 47 different varieties of brews! We don't suggest anyone attempt to tackle that list in a day. The Marketplaces that focus mainly on beer (Craft Beers, Hops & Barley, and Brewer's Collection Booths) are offering flights of four 3oz pours for about $13. This is a fantastic option for new beer drinkers who want to sample the flavors of many brews to discover which they like best. Just be sure to write down the ones that you are most fond of so that you can find them again when you head back home.
