MyMagic+ Honored with Innovation Award from Fast Company

Disney's MyMagic + was recently honored with the Innovation by Design award by Fast Company magazine.

The guest experience system was named the winner in the "Experience" category at the annual award ceremony in New York City.

According to Fast Company's website, "Walt Disney World Resort enters the 21st century with an overhauled vacation-planning system...MyMagic+ was a rarity among judges in that it won in an immediate, unanimous decision. That's no doubt because it's a peek at a smarter, more automated future, with applications beyond the theme park."

Fast Company received 1,587 submissions from around the world for the Innovation by Design contest and pared those down to 53. A panel of judges voted on the 10 winners.

MyMagic+ allows guests a high-tech vacation planning experience that includes MagicBands, FastPass+, and the My Disney Experience website and app.
