This summer the crafty mixologists at Dawa Bar have been busy stirring up some delicious new savory cocktails. Four new creative spins on the traditional Bloody Mary have made there way to the early morning menu for guests to enjoy before setting out on safari. With a global range of flavors and some truly spectacular garnishment, each of these cocktails will set you back $9.50.
The Discovery Island Bloody Mary is made with Grey Goose Vodka, Bloody Mary mix, lime juice and olive juice, garnished with parsley and a skewer of mozzarella cheese, tomato, basil and stuffed olive.
The Dawa Bloody Mary takes the Grey Goose Vodka and Bloody Mary mix then turns up the heat with Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, and gets a garnish of fresh basil with a skewer of truffle and blue cheese-stuffed olive and prosciutto.
The African Bloody Mary gets it's world flavor finish with spicy African berbere sauce added to the Grey Goose Vodka and Bloody Mary mix, then a garnish of berbere-rubbed beef jerky, celery stalk, carrot and parsley.
The Asian Bloody Mary adds spicy kimchee-sriracha puree to the Grey Goose Vodka and Bloody Mary mix, then is garnished with an Asian slaw of cucumber, carrot, daikon radish and a tandoori shrimp.
I've said it once and I'll say it again, I absolutely love Animal Kingdom's Dawa Bar. It's the perfect spot to take a break, sit back relax to enjoy the atmosphere of Harambe Village while waiting for a table at Tusker House or just to enjoy some people watching.
If you love a Bloody Mary and these unique flavor profiles speak to the adventurer inside of you, be sure to drop by and pick your poison. The new Bloody Mary cocktails available daily from 9-11 am. What do you think of these cocktail additions at Animal Kingdom? Leave a comment and let us know!
