File this one under the "having your cake and eating it, too" file. The free Disney Dining Plan is back, just in time to make plans for a late summer/early fall trip.
Disney Visa Cardholders booking the "Memories Vacation Package" now through August 27, 2011 will receive a free Disney Dining Plan. The offer is good for stays most nights from August 28, 2011 through September 24, 2011. The package includes a minimum three-night stay at a Disney resort, base tickets (two-day minimum and can be upgraded) and a PhotoPass Photo Book. It's worth noting the PhotoBook, which is a required element of the package, adds about $100 extra to the cost of the package.
Guests booking the package with a stay at a Value Resort will receive a free Quick Service Dining Plan (use code I25) while stays at a Moderate, Deluxe or Villa Resort nets a free Regular Dining PLan (use code O2M).
Don't have a Disney Visa? No problem! The free Disney Dining Plan offer will be available to the public starting May 2, 2011.

Im sorry... but as a DVC member... I hate this thing. It brings in more people during the unbusy hours. I know it helps the park, but im being selfish and dont want wait times on rides! lol

Mase- I never thought about it like that, but you're probably right. It's probably a move to create more business in the parks, busy or not.
