German Tourist Accused of Making Fake Bomb Threat at WDW

This past Sunday morning, a tourist from Germany was arrested after allegedly making a fake bomb threat near the entrance of the Magic Kingdom.

Jochen Naumann, 37, apparently told cast members working the security checkpoint at the Magic Kingdom that he had two bombs in his backpack. When the cast member questioned Naumann further, the German tourist repeated he had bombs in his backpack.

A sherriff deputy stationed at the checkpoint then called in a bomb-sniffing dog while he took the tourist into custody. The dog did not find any explosive devices in the man's backpack.

Naumann was then taken to a security office where he was read his rights. He reportedly told officers he had been joking when he said he had bombs in his backpack. He was arrested and taken to Orange County Jail.

On Monday, a judge issued a $10,000 bond for Naumann.

The United States doesn't take bomb threats as a joking matter....

Saying you have two bombs in your backpack isn't a joke! I guess he found that out the hard way!

Unbelievable and such a shame.

As a German Disney fan I can not believe that.

I want to you to know that not all German people are crazy and nuts like him.

$10.000 is not enough.

Greetings from Germany

Thorsten
