The Celebrate a Dream Come True parade is coming to an end, and the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is taking its place early next year.
The new parade will highlight some of the most beloved Disney films, and Disney has recently released some concept art of floats. The Little Mermaid Float features Ariel sitting atop a music box with many of her undersea friends, while Merida and her three brothers (in their bear form) will journey down Main Street on a very large and colorful set of bagpipes
The Festival of Fantasy Parade will also feature floats spotlighting the stories of Sleeping Beauty, Dumbo, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, and Tangled. The Disney Princesses will also have their very own Royal Court Garden float.
The Celebrate a Dream Come True parade ends its daily run on December 20 this year but will have finale performance from January 1-4, 2014. During the holiday season guests will be able to enjoy Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, in addition to Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It, and the Main Street Electrical Parade.
The Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is set to debut next spring.

Does Spring mean February? I hope so.

Normally I would say that February s still winter. However, since the current parade is having finale performances Jan 1-4 I think there's a shot for February. We have not been given a Grand Opening date for the new parade by Disney yet.

Good lord, who is the guest writer that doesn't bother to mention his source, nor properly quote it properly?
This is a cute little blog but does it have editors on its staff?

Mella - The source material is linked right there at the bottom of the article where it says "Source." That's the standard on all of our news pieces.
