At the D23 Expo on Friday afternoon, John Lasseter, chief creative officer of Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios announced details and shared footage for the upcoming slate of animated films. The films include Coco, Wreck-it-Ralph 2, Frozen 2, Toy Story 4, and more.

Runners take your mark! Registration for the 2016 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend presented by Children's Miracle Network Hospitals opens Tuesday, July 14 at noon ET at runDisney.com. The Princess Half Marathon Weekend is February 18-21 at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Disney has announced that two events during the Princess Half Marathon Weekend, the Disney Princess 5K and the runDisney Kids Races, will have a Frozen theme. The medals for both events will depict a Frozen motif.

Steampunk-Inspired Maleficent Float to Join the Magic Kingdom’s ‘Festival of Fantasy Parade’

There are still a couple of months until the 'Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade' debuts at the Magic Kingdom, and Disney recently announced a new float for the parade.

The float will represent Sleeping Beauty's Maleficent as a 35-foot-long, 26-foot high Steampunk-inspired dragon.

The Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is celebration of Fantasyland and each float will be created so that it appears as though the characters featured on the floats had a hand in creating them.

‘Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade’ Airs December 25 on ABC

The 30th annual Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade special is set to air on Christmas Day on ABC.
