Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train are Two of the Highlights for 2014 at Walt Disney World

Next year promises to be a very magical year for guests at the Walt Disney World Resort with the opening of a new attraction and the debut of a new parade at the Magic Kingdom, plus much more.

The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is set to open in the spring of 2014, completing the New Fantasyland expansion at the Magic Kingdom. The ride takes guests on a musical ride through the mines, and was inspired by the classic animated film.

Also debuting next spring is the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade at the Magic Kingdom. The parade will feature new floats, new costumes, and a new theme song in addition to songs from classic Disney movies.

Guests will see floats with the Disney Princesses, Merida, Ariel and her undersea friends, Peter Pan and Wendy, and Rapunzel and Flynn Rider.

The transformation of Downtown Disney into Disney Springs continues next year with the addition of the Fit2Run store, the Marketplace Co-Op, two new Starbucks locations including a storefront and a kiosk. Disney Spring is set to be completed in 2016.

Next year also marks the opening of a new luxury hotel from Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. The hotel will be located inside the Golden Oak residential area and will feature several dining options including a rooftop restaurant giving guests a bird's eye view of the Magic Kingdom. The hotel will also feature a lazy river, three pools, and a business center.

Sports fan will have the chance to catch the Orlando City Soccer Club as it plays its 2014 regular season home games at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in the spring. And runDisney enthusiasts will be racing in several new races in early 2014, including new 10K races during the marathon weekend and the Princess Half Marathon Weekend.

Disney will be continuing to encourage guests to "Show Your Disney Side" throughout 2014, and the rollout of MyMagic+ will also continue next year.
