Have you been looking for a fun, unique getaway? Why not try a 3 Night cruise on the Disney Dream! Disney Cruise Line offers a great way to escape for the weekend for some romantic time with your companion. After sailing for my first time in May, I can assure you that there's plenty to do for adults wanting to get away.
Situated in a secluded end of the ship is the adults only, Quiet Cove Area. A grown up retreat and comfortable place to relax. You can grab a bite to eat or a coffee in the cafe, take a dip in the pool, swim up to the full service bar, dip in the hot tub or just kick back in the sun.
Senses Salon & Spa is a caters to both men and women, I took advantage of the rainforest day pass that grants access to the beautifully themed and appointed scented steam rooms, heated lounge chairs, lounging hot tubs for two, and the super fun rainforest sensory showers. While I relaxed my companion got a luxurious shave.
For dinner, Palo & Remy are two 18 and over dining experiences that you don't want to miss. For foodies, they are reason enough to sail away. Each offers an elegant atmosphere: one Italian, one French, both utterly delicious.
At nighttime, the ship comes alive with bars, nightclubs, and the Broadway style evening Stage Show. My favorite nightspot was Pink, which is designed to look like you're inside a bottle of the signature Taittinger Bubbly. I thought that the stage shows would be boring but, honestly, they were really fantastic! The Disney Cruise Line offers high quality family entertainment that keeps both kids and adults enchanted. Being able to sip a glass of wine in the theater before dinner doesn't hurt any either.
Adult themed shore excursions include favorites like whiskey, wine & cigar tastings. Adults can escape on Castaway Cay, too. Disney's private island offers the adults-only Serenity Bay Beach with massage cabanas, a lunch pavilion, bar, and a rental spot for fins, floats, and tubes. I took a Jet Ski tour and it was a crazy amount of fun!
My friends doubted the ability to have a great grown up cruise on a Disney ship, but they were so very wrong. Though we were on a ship full of children at no point did I feel overrun with kids. There were more than enough opportunities to spend time with my companion and enjoy a relaxing break. A Disney Cruise is delightful for children and grown-ups alike.
Have you been on a Disney Cruise? Why not consider a 3 Night voyage for your next romantic get away? Walt Disney World's quality and style transform every inch of this dreamy ship.
