Walt Disney World Golf offers several challenging courses are lead by Arnold Palmer's vision and management, including the famous Magnolia course, home to a Mickey shaped sand-trap on the 6th hole. All of Disney's scenic courses are also certified as Cooperative Wildlife Sanctuaries by Audubon International.
Walt Disney World Golf offers several types of play packages for guests to take advantage of. Including discounts for Florida Residents, Military Personel, DVC Members, and Annual Pass Holders, to name a few. Guests staying at on property at select Walt Disney World Resorts get some fantastic benefits when hitting the links, such as preferred tee times for the Championship Courses, and complimentary door-to-door transportation between their resort and the Walt Disney World golf facilities.
If you love to golf, but don't want to worry about packing and transporting your clubs on vacation, there's no need to worry. You can still get in a few relaxing rounds. All of the Disney courses have top-of-the-line TaylorMade Rocketballz clubs available to rent along with Adidas golf shoes.
Recently, Walt Disney World Golf launched a new program for Florida Residents aimed at helping golfers sharpen their skills. 'The Players Club' is exactly what every golfer needs to get their game ready for a summer on the links. The program costs $29 per month and offers members free use of the practice ranges and free weekday golf clinics with a PGA-certified golf instructors. In addition, members can play Disney's four championship courses during select times of the day for only $15 ($10 on the 9-hole Oak Trail walking course) with special pricing for their guests during these times. Tee Times for members will most likely be later in the day.
