There's a flurry of fun going on at Disney's Hollywood Studios, so grab the gang and head down Hollywood Boulevard into a wonderland of Holiday excitement. Let's take a look at what's going on during this spectacular season!
Echo Lake has gotten a holiday make-over and even dinosaur Gertie has gotten in on the fun. After closing on Halloween night the Disney holiday team worked their seasonal magic to bring give the new space a glittering and festive feel. The 1940's inspired decor includes the Parks signature tree and floating Christmas ornaments bobbing in the lake, as well as the biggest Santa hat Disney has ever made, right on top of Gertie's head.
Over on Sunset Boulevard, and headed towards the Hollywood Tower, Sunset Seasons Greetings has kicked off with a never brand new display of seasonal splendor. The 15 minute long show includes projections on the Hollywood Tower, colorful lighting effects down the boulevard, two giant LED video billboards, and the the piece de resistance - snow storm machines.
From Christmas Cocktails, to Red Velvet Whoopie Pies, and Olaf Sundaes our friends over at the Disney Food Blog have been working hard to bring you reports of all things delicious and delightful to eat. While Epcot's Holiday Kitchens may take you around the world, the festive finger foods at Disney Hollywood Studios are all about a good time. Check Out Their Holiday Food Review Here!
On November 9th Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! will kick off again. Help the elves of Prep & Landing on their mission to find Santa in this larger than life nighttime spectacular featuring holiday tunes, Disney classics, special effects, and ending the night with a fantastical burst of fireworks over the Chinese Theater.
One last special treat for guests at this Disney Park, be sure to stop by and see the jolly old elf himself! Santa will be greeting guests from November 9 to December 24, 2017 right inside Once Upon a Time on Sunset Boulevard. Even Santa needs a break after the busy holiday season, and from December 25 to 31, 2017 Goofy will be taking over so the big guy can get a little rest.
