Raytheon is hosting its annual character breakfast for military families at the Shades of Green Resort on Monday, November 11 in honor of Veterans Day.
The company's relationship with Shades of Green dates back to 2009 when Raytheon donated The Family Technology Center, which is a game room for guests' home away from home.
Raytheon also sponsors the resort's Wounded Warrior suite. This 1,200 square-foot, ADA-compliant suite gives wounded service members and their families a space that can accommodate up to 10 adults and four children.
The Shades of Green Resort provides an affordable vacation for active service members, veterans, and their families. The resort is operated as an Armed Forces Recreation Center by the U.S. Army in support of all military branches, their family members, and guests. Rates are based on military rank or civilian grade at the time of check in.
The Veterans Day character breakfast is scheduled for 7 a.m., 8 a.m., and 9 a.m. on November 11. The Wounded Warrior Project will also be in attendance.
