Disney Denies Claims Presented in Americans with Disabilities Act Lawsuit

Disney has filed a response to the lawsuit filed in April by 16 families who said the theme parks' Disability Access Service violates the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

In the original lawsuit, the families of 16 children and young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities alleged that the new Disability Access Service is unsuited to the needs of guests with special needs.

In Honor of Veterans Day, Raytheon Hosting Annual Character Breakfast for Military Families at Shades of Green Resort

Raytheon is hosting its annual character breakfast for military families at the Shades of Green Resort on Monday, November 11 in honor of Veterans Day.

The company's relationship with Shades of Green dates back to 2009 when Raytheon donated The Family Technology Center, which is a game room for guests' home away from home.

Mobility Assistance Rentals for Walt Disney World Vacations

Walt Disney World is well known for its excellence in ADA accommodation for the mobility-impaired traveler. From ample parking and accessible queues, to wheelchair accessible transportation and guest assistance cards: few can argue the lengths Disney has gone to for their guests. For decades now the Parks of Walt Disney World have offered the ability to rent wheelchairs and electric convenience vehicles (ECV or Scooter) for the day to assist guests with physical disabilities in their touring.
