Lion Guard Adventure Coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom in February

A new adventure for young guests is coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom in February. The Lion Guard Adventure is based on the new Disney Channel series The Lion Guard which premiered earlier this month.

The Lion Guard Adventure is coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

The Lion Guard Adventure sends kids on a park-wide search for characters from The Lion Guard: Kion, the leader; Bunga, a honey badger; Fuli the cheetah; Beshte the good-natured hippo; and Ono, the egret.

Kids can pick up a Lion Guard Adventure map at select merchandise locations and then search for the characters hidden in themed locations around the park. Kion can be found in the Africa section, Ono is near the Tree of Life, and the hippo is hidden in Harambe.

Each stop on the adventure is marked with a Lion Guard banner and a sign featuring the character's attributes.

Once the guests find all five character traits the adventure ends at Rafiki's Planet Watch where the kids are inducted into the Lion Guard with a special pledge and given a Lion Guard button. There's also a photo opp with Rafiki.
