Morimoto Asia, the first pan-Asian restaurant from Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto, is set to open on September 30 at The Landing in Downtown Disney (soon-to-be Disney Springs). Reservations will be available via Open Table on September 16.
The restaurant's menu will feature items including Moo Shu Pork, Peking Duck, Sweet and Sour Crispy Whole Fish, and Kung Pao Chicken. On the weekends diners can enjoy Dim Sum during brunch with dumplings, shumai, spare ribs, and more.
Morimoto Asia's sushi bar has been built with hundreds of pieces of hand-selected ash wood and features just 14 seats. In the dining room guests can choose from a selection of specialty rolls and sushi platters.
The drink menu will feature sake, including a signature Morimoto line, wines from around the world, signature cocktails, and Asian beer including the signature Morimoto beer by Rogue Ales and the Black Obi Soba.
The bar is one of the largest in the world at 270 feet long and it connects the grand dining room on the restaurant's ground floor with the upper level Forbidden Lounge as the bar wraps around the staircase. Diners will also be able to see into the open kitchen and enjoy views of the water from the two-story terrace.
Reservations for Morimoto Asia open on September 16 via Open Table, on September 30 via the restaurant at 407-560-6686, and on November 1 via 407-WDW-DINE.
