Though it's set to start this fall, it's never too early to start talking about Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival. For 2012, the festival is set to run 46 days (September 28 through November 12) and will have some new features as well as returning favorites.
Guests can look forward to two new marketplaces during the fest: the Terra and Florida marketplaces. The Terra marketplace will offer up vegan fare, including Trick'n Chick'n Curry with Basmati Rice and Chili Colorado with House-Made Chips and Cashew Cheese. Look for the Florida marketplace to "introduce fresh twists on regional flavor samplings."
Also new this year is are the Marketplace VIP Access Chef Tours. These walking and tasting tours are planned for each Wednesday. During the tour, guests will sample five different marketplace dishes and five beverages (including beer, wine and cocktails) while chatting it up with various chefs.
Returning this year are guest favorites such as the Eat to the Beat Concert Series and HGTV seminars. Also planned this year are the Party for the Senses grand tasting events; dates for those events are Oct. 6, 13, 20, 27 and Nov. 3.
