There will be two new Specialty Room offerings coming to Walt Disney World Resort soon: health and wellness suites and Royal Guest Rooms.
First, the Contemporary Resort will have new health and wellness suites available for guests this fall. Bamboo floors, rainwater showers, non-allergenic wrapped mattresses, 100-percent cotton linens and great views of the Magic Kingdom are some of the things guests can expect from these new suites. In addition, guests can have cardio equipment right in their room plus have access for organic fresh foods in the concierge lounge. The Contemporary's wellness studio has also been renovated and can provide spa treatments and yoga sessions to guests of the health and wellness suites.
Next, 512 Royal Guest Rooms are slated to make their debut in March 2012 at Disney's Port Orleans Resort. Imagine Princess Tiana (from "The Princess and the Frog") has invited over some of her princess friends (think Jasmine, Belle and the like) for a royal sleepover. The result? The lush Royal Guest Rooms complete with headboards with fiber-optic special effects and artwork and mementos left behind by the princesses.
The health and wellness suites and the Royal Guest Rooms are the two newest additions to the Disney Specialy Room line. Already included in the line are Donald Duck rooms at Tokyo Disney Resort and pirate-themed rooms at Disney's Carribbean Beach Resort. While the existing pirate-themed rooms are ready for booking now, guests will have to wait for mid-summer to start booking the health and wellness suites and the Royal Guest Rooms. Those interested in booking specialty rooms can visit www.waltdisneyworld.com or call 407-939-7429.

I thought these rooms looked too cool! It will be neat to see what they come up with next for this line. Thanks for your comments, you two! :)
