Options To Upgrade Your MagicBand From Home Coming Soon
Customized MagicBands let Walt Disney World Guests accessorize their trip with a personality all their own. From purchasing official Disney styles, to painting your own, or bedazzling with bling, planning what your MagicBand looks like has become an integral part of Disney vacation prep. It's no surprise that Disney is stepping up the options, and has a brand new offer coming our way.
Options To Upgrade Your MagicBand From Home Coming Soon
Soon, Disney Resort hotel guests and Annual Passholders will have the option to upgrade their MagicBands to a personalized selection right from the My Disney Experience app or website. For a discounted price to buying them once you arrive at Walt Disney World, 30 new fun designs will join the traditional (complimentary) solid-color bands. These new upgraded character MagicBand options will be available for pre-arrival purchase at a special price of just $10 each. That price reflects a significant $14.99 discount off the regular retail cost.
Here's the nitty gritty:
- Upgrade options can also be shipped to guests' homes (U.S. addresses only) if ordered 11 or more days ahead of arrival.
- MagicBands can be personalized if done so at least 6 or more days ahead of arrival for pick-up at your resort.
- Your credit card will be charged by Magic Kingdom, Inc. when you place your order.
- Once personalized, MagicBands cannot be canceled, returned, refunded or exchanged, even if the hotel reservation is canceled.
- Pricing of upgraded MagicBands may vary.
- Upgraded MagicBand selection of designs is subject to availability.
- Traditional solid-color bands will remain complimentary to Walt Disney World Resort Hotel guests.

We stayed 3 times this year, but, have no more stays planned for this year. This is great news because from Annual Pass renewals and other stays, we have already racked up all the colors. I would easily drop $10 for character design! I couldn't justify the full price before. Now, I just need another trip planned :)
